We are a Shropshire based business involved in the engineering and fabrication industry. It is our key aim to grow a thriving and positive business, committed to fulfilling our customers needs.
We believe that through hard work, ingenuity and continuous improvement we can strengthen our position and provide our customers with the right product to enable their ongoing success.
Since our incorporation in 2007 we have earned a good reputation, and much of our work is through referrals. We enjoy working closely with customers to ensure that the outcome is exactly right.
Walker Engineering was incorporated in October 2007, by the director Ian Walker. Established to serve the local market with repair and fabrication services, the business has expanded in its manufacturing scope and customer base.
We regularly complete work for business customers in the agricultural, civil, industrial, and construction sectors, and for private customers alike.
Ian has been involved in engineering since 1998, having completed a full indentured apprenticeship with the MoD, as a machinist fitter. During which time competing in national competitions and winning on both occasions, following this, selection to represent the UK in the world skill Olympics in Seoul 2001.
Ian worked in the engineering sector, for defence and agricultural companies, up until leaving to start in business in 2007. Since then a program of continual investment and improvement has seen the production capacity rise, and increased scope to enable a wide range of work to be completed.
In April 2012 David Walker joined the business, bringing more experience and new thinking to the operation.
